Meet Laina.
Since launching her career in 2018, Laina Terry has worked for PR agencies in New York City that have represented globally-recognized brands, including Nobu Hotels and Restaurants, Marriott, and Atlantis, as well as bespoke getaways in the Hudson Valley, Caribbean rental properties, cruise and river cruise companies, beachfront resorts in Spain, luxury dude ranch resorts in the midwest, and tourism boards in Canada, Scotland, Australia, and Italy among many others.
When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit in March 2020, Laina’s position at her former travel PR agency was immediately eliminated, leaving her uncertain about what was next. During that time of uncertainty, she began freelancing PR and social media services to local restaurants and chefs, small brands, and hotels to help keep businesses afloat during challenging times. One project led to another, ultimately inspiring her to launch Pronto Public Relations in January 2021 at just 24 years old. Today, Laina specializes in hands-on representation for boutique, independent, and family/chef-owned hotels and restaurants around the world.
Laina also specializes in influencer marketing and social media strategy to help clients reach media goals through intentional content creation, analytical strategy, influencer and brand collaborations, and digital brand building. She has led successful digital campaigns across social media platforms and has managed a wide range of accounts — from small startups to luxury hotels — helping them grow their online presence and build authentic followings.
Laina prides herself in abstract PR angles that push boundaries while garnering meaningful results that set her clients up for long-term success. She strives to provide an all-around satisfactory experience, and she looks forward to continuing to navigate the ever-evolving media landscape with her current and future clients.

Education: She received her BA in Digital Media & Communications from Johnson & Wales University’s Providence campus. She also studied abroad at the University of Westminster in London, England.
Favorite Cocktail: Extra Spicy Margarita with a salt and/or tajin rim. 🌶️🔥
Favorite City: London. She even has a London-themed tattoo to prove it.
Favorite Cuisine: Mexican.
Favorite Thing to Do When Not Working: Cooking. New recipes are always accepted and appreciated! She’s also obsessed with her cats, Ollie and Binx, and typically spends most evenings lounging with them.
Dream Vacation(s): Australia + NZ, and a safari in Africa!
